What can I offer Holy Trinity?

Worship ministry:
We have a group of instrumentalists and singers who lead us in worship during our service, however we are always looking for more musicians with a heart for worship to join our team.

CoCa - Children of Christ always (Children’s Ministry):
We are committed to offering a solid Biblical education to our children. You can be part of this process as a teacher, a shepherd, a worship leader or supervisor in the crèche.
Due to current Covid-19 regulations, CoCa sessions do not happen on a Sunday morning. It will start again once the Covid-19 climate has abated. We would appreciate assistance with finding online Children’s Ministry material that could be posted on our website.

Sacristans:
This very committed band of helpers ensures that the elements and vessels used for the Eucharist are ready and prepared for each individual service. Do you feel led for this area of service?

Property maintenance and gardening:
Are you a handy-man? This is the area where you can be of great assistance. There is always a host of small jobs that need to be done and we need a good list of people willing to assist in this ministry. We have a large property here at Holy Trinity, which needs constant love and care. So if you feel you have “green fingers” please don’t hesitate to offer your services.

This ministry is key to people’s broad experience of the living Lord Jesus in our service. Volunteers are sought to operate the sound system and data projector as well as operating the computer which drives our visual presentations

Pastoral / Hospital visiting:
Our Parish has people who are lonely, ill or with particular needs who need our love and support. We need a team of people to be available to visit these people.

Prayer & Intercession:
This vital aspect of Parish life is covered in various ways. The Intercessory Groups meet at different times throughout the week and each has a slightly different prayer focus.
We also co-ordinate an Emergency Prayer Chain where you will be called upon to pray in your own homes or offices when contacted with a crisis prayer.

Discipleship:
We run a programme for new converts/disciples in the parish. This involves walking alongside a convert using a discipleship manual, so that the new convert is discipled in the biblical faith.

Men’s and Women’s Ministry:
We have fellowship and Ministry groups for men and women. These groups are always seeking people to help with organisation and planning of events.

Young People’s Ministry:
This vast ministry is always in need of volunteers who are passionate about young people and serving young people.

Audio Visual Ministry:
This ministry is key to people’s broad experience of the living Lord Jesus in our service. Volunteers are sought to operate the sound system and data projector as well as operating the computer which drives our visual presentations

We would love to welcome you into our Church Family. We trust that you will feel part of our family – and we will do our best to let you feel that way. We pride ourselves in the truth of our slogan – “The Church with the heart on the Hill” – not because we are superior to others but because we realised that we are all broken people in need of our Father’s love.
